How I Wear My Dress

Florals

Florals made in Polyvore

V neck dress
A light denim dress can be easily paired with soft pastel colors to achieve a preppy and chic look.

Topshop Unique white collar shirt
The shade of florals complement the hue of the denim dress.
It also makes the person wearing it look classy and elegant because of its simplicity.

Aéropostale buckle sandals
These sandals look good paired with the button down long sleeves especially because the hues of their cream match each other.

Old Navy vegan purse
A cream bag can never go wrong especially when it is paired with pastel colors.

Michael Kors earrings jewelry
Top the look with some studs to make yourself look more elegant.

Hello guys! I just wanted to share a very simple but elegant look that I usually adore. I hope that this outfit set may inspire you to achieve a preppy look (if it's your style). I've been hiatus for a long time because of summer vacation and other things. It's the start of my college term again so I have the time to post on the weekends. Hope I could keep this up for you guys. Thanks for taking your time to read this.

Save Money for Your Future Self

grabbed from vocalady magazine

Save money for your future self, who is indeed wiser and knows how to spend money well. Don't be regretful of putting your spare coins in the piggy bank or depositing your money in the bank. Just a little bit is enough and go a long way. Share to your future self who won't buy 5 tops that are really cheap. It won't be worn too much because it wasn't really that wanted and its fabric doesn't feel comfortable. Your future self won't buy the overpriced breakfast meal that had little servings which didn't fill her at all. In addition to that, your future self probably won't get the cheap dresses that don't fit well. She won't get that makeup line that made her skin breakout or get that nail polish that chips of easily. He won't buy those overpriced and overrated shoes that people will probably get tired of. She won't buy too much desserts that she won't finish. He won't waste his money on the girl who's probably going to friend zone him. So please, please give your future self some spare cash to spend. He/she would probably spend it well.

** A very short blog post I apologize. You probably see the gist of what I said so why does it matter anyway? Just kidding. Have a happy Thursday everyone!

Preppy Casual

Preppy Casual

made in Polyvore
Pastel Pink Button Down Shirt

- a simple button down shirt that's enough to cover your bottom (of course it wouldn't be modest if you wear a short top with leggings)
- pastel pink is very suiting to the eye and is a preppy color
                - this makes a conservative and feminine look

Black Leggings

- a very comfortable piece of clothing that you can dress up and dress down to
- remember to wear a long top while wearing this
- black makes your legs look thinner

Pointed Black Mary Js

- makes an illusion of longer legs because of the pointed front which serves as an extension of the leg
                - a pointed front never fails to look classy

Pearl Earrings

- these earrings put an elegant touch to the preppy casual outfit
- you could never go wrong on wearing pearl studs

Glasses
- smart look, enough said

This is the first fashion post I have ever made. I'm just starting out with this so please don't expect me to make complicated fashion sets yet. I'll probably focus on what I usually wear at school and then I'll be putting sophisticated classy looks next. Please give this a chance!

NEW! : Fashion Combinations

taken from mindthismagazine.com

As I have started the second term of college, I automatically broke my new year's resolution of writing at least 4 blog posts on each month. I have had plans of changing my blog content to an inspirational and at the same time a fashion blog. It didn't push through because I had to get used to the feeling of being tired every time I'm done commuting. My university is one hour (sometimes one and a half hour) away so for me, it's really exhausting.

As I mentioned, I added a new side for my blog which is posting fashion combinations. The inspirational posts will be posted every 1st and 3rd week of the month and the fashion side of my blog will be posted every 2nd and 4th week. I will be focusing a simple, elegant, and chic style which is my primary style. Sometimes, I like to wear grunge but it's not often so I probably won't focus on that a lot. Also, I might add makeup styles for the fashion combinations that I will post.

Thanks for the supporters of my blog who convinced me to post in my blog again. Thank you so much! I'll do my best with my posts. I hope you get inspired with the things I post.

2016 Planner

(grabbed from google images)

It’s New year tomorrow so I'm guessing that most of you have your planners already. The image above is what my planner looks like.

Let me tell you what factors I’ve considered when buying my planner. (You can use this as a basis for choosing yours too)
  • It’s light and simple. In my case, I prefer florals to compliment my journal so I bought the floral designed one. There’s also a choice of buying a plain journal but the same type of material for it.
  • It’s cheap! I bought mine for 3.20 dollars only compared to the other journals.
  • It’s hard bound which makes the pages well protected It has 2 divisions, one for daily tasks and for the overall tasks.
  • It has a big space to write on which is compatible for college (I expect a lot of schoolworks).
  • It can be converted to a bullet journal.
Okay, here’s where the “bullet journal” comes in, It’s an organized way to add tasks to your planner and it can also make your planner more useful. It was developed by Ryder Carroll for 20 years!!! It’s best if I just link the official site so you would understand how the bullet journal works.

I will be posting the progress of my journal on December 2016… I hope I could finish it!!!
